The Wayne County Parks and Recreation Department offers a non-instructional Tennis program that allows children ages 7-17 the opportunity to play against peers of their own age in neighboring Counties. Tennis is NOT an instructional league; players will be going to area communities on a weekly basis to compete against other youth in their age groups.
Tennis Rackets are not provided.
Lunch is not provided however facilities to buy food are sometimes made available at the end of each session.
Please note there are NO exceptions to the age control date. No child will be allowed to play out of his/her age category.
WCRD requires that all participants have a copy of their birth certificate on file to participate in any and all programs.
